How can this book be so gorgeous?
I kid you not: it was really that good!
'Timekeeper' is the book of the month for my book club. And I absolutely LOVED it!
Protagonist:
His name is Danny Hart. He's seventeen years old, and in the book, he's the world's youngest mechanic. For three years, his father had been trapped inside a stopped town: a town where time completely stopped running. Those inside a stopped town can't get out, and those outside can't get in...
Danny Hart is a little angel, and I'm definitely not saying that because he's all 'sugar and spice and everything that's nice' in the book ( he's not ). Still, he's officially one of my favorite characters. He might not be perfect, but he's also not annoyingly defenseless. He's...human.
GO DANNY!!!!
Writing Style:
This book is written in third person. I'm more of a first-person kind of girl, but it took barely any time for me to get into 'Timekeeper'. This was AMAZING!
Plot:
The towers all across England are getting bombed. As the threat of the Enfield clock tower getting bombed, Danny has every reason to worry. If the tower is bombed, the town would become stopped. Just like what happened to Danny's father. Could Danny protect Enfield's clock tower? Is there any hope for Danny's father? Love, betrayal, and possible death...
I can barely give you any good information when the smallest word could end up spoiling an important part of the book. When I first heard of it, I wasn't very interested. I had no idea I'd end up loving this so much!
Romance:
In addition to being an awesome fantasy/science fiction novel, 'Timekeeper' is also a romance. And it was beautiful...
The romance wasn't fluffy -it actually had meaning. I think that the romance is really worth your time, and that 'Timekeeper' does not overuse it. The romance is important to the plot, but it wasn't shoved in the reader's face unnecessarily. I...loved it.

Bonus Time: *Spoiler included* } Do you think Danny's dad would do when he learns about Danny and Colton's relationship? He wasn't thrilled when he learned about Mathias and Evaline's relationship...
